We recently completed a construction project at our home with Lime Construction, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience and results. From start to finish, Warren, the company owner and project manager, was exceptionally professional and easy to work with.
The entire process was seamless — Warren managed every detail with clear communication and transparency. He set realistic expectations from the outset and kept us informed at every stage. We particularly appreciated his openness around budgeting; he was upfront about potential over- and under-spends, which made the whole experience stress-free and built a lot of trust.

We engaged Lime to do some extensive modifications to our house - including building a large lantern roofed extension, changing the house roof line to expand a bedroom and add an ensuite bathroom, replace windows throughout and to rebuild a sizable patio. The Lime team were a pleasure to deal with, there was always excellent communication and respect for our needs while continuing to live in the property. When there were decisions to be made or scope creep (on our part), Warren and team were both flexible and creative. All of the work was delivered to very high standard and finished on-time and on-budget. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We recently used Lime Construction for our house renovation project, which involved a full strip out of a 1930s house, new central heating system, full rewire, new GRP roof, and significant reconfiguration throughout the ground floor. We had a 2-storey extension built in 2023, comprising kitchen/utility/diner and 2 bedrooms, while living-in with a 1 year old and 2 other children. The site was left clean and, most importantly, safe at the end of each day, and the team made sure we had a temporary kitchen and crucially a working washing machine still available. Nothing was too much bother and the trades were always so friendly and considerate - given we had kids around this was hugely appreciated.
Warren is very reasonable, honest and open-minded, and incredibly knowledgable about every aspect of building work. We didn’t have any major issues but I’m confident that if we had, he would have sorted things swiftly and professionally. Plus, he’s just a nice guy to have around!

Lime completed a full renovation and extension on our property in 2015/2016. The quality of their work has excellent and the house still looks recently finished over 10 years after they completed the rebuild. Our architects really let us down during the tender process and if it wasn’t for Lime’s help in working out how to reduce costs on the build, I don’t think we would have gone through with it. Lime were on site almost everyday during the build and Warren was always easily contactable. The project was completed to the cost estimate agreed at the start of the build. There were extra costs incurred due to changes of spec or unforeseen problems, but Lime always checked with us and provided detailed breakdown of extra costs before proceeding. Despite being such an extensive job, we had very few snagging items at the end of it. Any small problems that have arisen since completion were attended to quickly. Our relationship was very good and I still ask them to quote for any other smaller projects we have, although they are always busy!

His quote was the most thorough of all of those I obtained so there were no surprises or unexpected additions. His invoicing was clear and detailed and linked back to the agreed quote making it easy to track our budget. Having designed our home which was originally a bungalow, we contracted Lime Construction Limited (a new start-up business) to build it for us. As the project was in the rear garden of our existing home, the work was potentially disruptive to our lives, and I was a daily visitor on site. Warren was always flexible, considerate and understanding throughout the process and our dream home was built to a very high quality. During the entire process the site was kept tidy and safe. We were very happy with the end result, so much so that when I decided to extend into the roof to create a chalet/bungalow, we appointed Lime Construction without calling for other quotes. Lime Construction Ltd were fabulous! Warren and his team built our amazing single storey rear and double storey side extension, transforming our mundane 3-bedroom house into a beautiful five bedroom home with master en-suite and stunning open plan kitchen / dining/ family space. I cannot speak highly enough of the team who worked tirelessly and meticulously in oftentimes difficult and stressful conditions. A special shout out to the lovely Jamie - talented, consistent, hard-working and always wearing a smile! Our build was complex involving awkward access and much raised garden removal, a lot of structural support precision and interior and exterior sub-floor preparation. Plans were discussed in detail, followed to the letter and collaboration with Building Control was thorough. Attention to detail was always at the top of the agenda and the team’s collaboration with surveyors and architects was efficient and considered. Recommendations and advice throughout the build and particularly for finishing touches was thoughtful. The final result was spectacular and we were delighted with the results. Warren is a great role model and team leader - meticulous, hard-working and very personable. Nothing was too much trouble, his attention to detail and customer care was impeccable and his construction team and specialist contractors were all a joy to have on site. We lived in the property throughout the build and Lime Construction worked hard to ensure we were as comfortable as possible at all times. Even the neighbours were baking them cakes they were that good! Highly recommend! Faultless! Five star service! A great local business and an asset to the construction trade! Book them if you can!

Staff- Jamie was amazing! He did the groundwork. Always arrived on time with a smile on his face. He reassured us when we had worries and issues.
The project management was so impressive with Lime. No last minute shocks. We were always informed in advance with decisions that had to be made. The project was organised and Warren came every day first thing to talk things through.
Lime were always super clean and tidy which was very important as we were living in the house while most of the work went on.
I have always heard bad things about the end of a building job. Especially with the snag list.
At the end of our project we remember Warren announcing that one Friday was snag day. We had to advise them of all our issues and they would spend the day sorting them before they left our job.
At the end of that day our house was complete and we were so happy.
Warren came back to us anytime we needed him.
